Bentley is a stand up comic/comic actor and professional comedy coach with a great reputation for bringing the best out of students.His courses have gained widespread mass media exposure on major tv channels and many newspapers.
He regularly appears at public speaking events talking on the transformational power of comedy,how comedy techniques can get you media attention and how to kill the fears of public speaking.
A passionate student of comedy Bentley established his own comedy career and then went on to form Comedy Novices.His clients include The Actors Centre,The YMCA,Esher College,MTV,Pepsi,Budveiser among others.
His courses have been featured on BBC Breakfast,The One Show,Russell Howard’s Good News,ITV Meridian,BBC World Service,Radio 2,4, and 5,Local BBC Radio stations,The Sun on Sunday,The Telegraph,Church Times and The Metro.
He runs the monthly Rox Comedy night in Belsize Park where he books the acts and MC’s the show.
Bentley’s TV credits include comedy roles on Channel 4’s The Last Leg,Posh Pawnbrokers,Channel 4’s Health Freaks Channel 4’s Feeling Nuts,Jack Whitehall’s DVD,Omid Djoli’s World Cup video,Loaded Tv’s Sex The Sitcom, work as David Cameron on ITV’s Alan Titchmarsh, The Green Party political broadcast and Alison Jackson’s Double Take.
Non comedy roles include the star guest role in US TV action series Dark Justice featuring Carrie Anne Moss,Steve Briggs in Brit feature film Meanwhile and Chip Nolan American Ambassador in The Long Winter feature film starring Elizabeth Hurley.
His stand up comedy career has taken him to Camden,Edinburgh and Brighton Fringe with his shows
